Acrostic Poem
Each line starts with a capital letter that spells out the poem’s theme vertically.

Love was in the air,
Over here and over there.
Very cute, I thought you were,
Even blond, which I prefer.
But your boyfriend was in tow
Eyeing any would-be beau.
How to get you on your own.
I saw you had a mobile phone.
Now to put my plan in place.
“Do you know I’m a disgrace.
Always was, but I am weak.
Pretty girl, you’re what I seek.”
Under guise of needing help
Moving pumpkins to the shelf
“Please could you take some snaps.
Kindly help me out with that.”
I used every bit of charm.
Now we’re lovers. Arm in arm.
